Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medication to patients and healthcare providers. They will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, interacting with customers, and ensuring that all workflow processes are followed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive and review prescription orders
- Measure and mix medications according to prescription orders
- Dispense medication to patients or healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate records of all medication transactions
- Answer customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Assist pharmacists with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus
